Rooted Doctrine is a study center of sorts – a place for curious minds to engage sound theology and biblical doctrine with depth, clarity, and reverence.
Our Conviction
We believe theology matters because what we believe shapes how we live.
Our guiding pattern is simple: Study. Obedience. Teaching. (in that order)
Ezra the scribe models this well, "For Ezra had set his heart to study the law of the LORD, and to practice it, and to teach His statutes and ordinances in Israel." (Ezra 7:10)
Ezra did not merely repeat the law, he explained it so the people could actually understand it. Our aim is to do the same: not just present knowledge, but to cultivate understanding that brings renewing of the mind and transformation of the heart.
The Great Commission - Part Two
Much of the Church's outward energy is rightly focused on mission work: proclaiming the gospel, making disciples of the nations, and calling people to faith in Christ. That work is essential and good.
Yet the Great Commission does not end there.
Jesus also commands us to: "Teach them to observe all that I have commanded you." (Matthew 28:20a)
This second part of the charge often receives less attention, but it applies to every believer. And we seek to equip all those who aspire to fill this gap – by providing spiritual nourishment and making known the whole counsel of God.
We're Brand New
As I'm sure you've probably noticed, this is a place that is in the earliest phase of its life. This is a foundation-laying season. So please be patient. Our goal is to roll out purposeful, high-quality weekly content, and over time to build a growing collection of teachings, discussions, and resources – all aimed at the glory of God and the good of His people.
